Rosie Varela is an American multimedia artist, writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. She is the founder, songwriter, and producer of the Rosie Varela Project and serves as lead guitarist and vocalist for the shoegaze band EEP.
With a background in education and administration, Rosie previously served as a school administrator at Animation Mentor (2004-2010) and Scottsdale Community College, where she mentored and supported emerging artists and creative professionals. Her commitment to nurturing talent continues through her work as an artist, educator, and community advocate.
A passionate philanthropist, Rosie actively supports community outreach and arts initiatives, particularly through her involvement with ZAAFI ARTS in Ghana, West Africa. As a Board Member, she brings creativity, compassion, and a strong commitment to empowering underserved communities through the arts.
